Brian Deese - The New Young Savior of GM

OK, this is ridiculous; yesterday I was so upset it actually made me write on this blog. Now today I’m so happy I just have to write again.

A little back story here. I have a problem with writing. I look at the blank page and just freeze, but at the same time it’s something I would love to do. When I’m not sitting at the computer I have some wonderful, interesting, creative and useful things to say, but put me in front of the computer and nothing. Nothing at all. So this great friend I have suggested writing a blog. No pressure she says, only my own I say. You can write what ever you want and there is no wrong way, it’s all yours.

Well, maybe I can do this, just maybe. I think in a month I have done 2. More than none, though. Now, here I am and within 2 days I am writing another 2. Hey for me!!!

Now to the story. I am so excited, happy, thrilled and filled with anticipation. Our President has just appointed a young 31 year old almost graduate from Yale Law School to head up fixing the GM mess. WOW!!! WOW!!

I have been saying for a while I wish Obama would bring in new blood, young blood, a new way of thinking, young people with wide-open minds. Minds that haven’t become quite so greedy. Minds that don’t slam shut if it’s not from the old school, old way of thinking.

You know when everything started falling apart and the big companies are dying left and right, the big bucks come out from the government and the big guys-the owners, the big thinkers, all those that earn the big bucks have their hands out for the big bonuses they earned (???) I knew it was time. Time for new and younger people to come to the forefront.

The more I watch our President the more I am thoroughly convinced he has been sent to us, to save our country. Amazing, I am so thrilled I am alive at this time in history. We are changing, and we will learn new ways of thinking, learn from this great younger generation coming up.
